Letter From The Founder

In pursuit of our passion to help our youth through the creation of the Partnership Success Incorporated, I was led to review my early childhood and young adult years. As a child, my parents worked hard at providing a structured family environment filled with love and support for each other as well for their children. Perhaps the most memorable are the times my parents and I spent discussing my future and the things I needed to do in order to live successfully.

Even with all they did I recognize that with a little more guidance and assistance I would have been better equipped to succeed in this vastly difficult and challenging world. This is not to say that their work was not valued and appreciated, but there are limits to what parents can accomplish during their children’s transitional phases. This became evident as I personally became involved with community programs that offered self-help initiatives.

For more than four years I have coordinated efforts with several inner city schools, along with people from various backgrounds, who have unselfishly volunteered their time, to bring about a positive influence to the lives of our aspiring young adults. Some of the areas of concentration have been professionalism, job seeking, financial responsibility, leadership, and more. Through a series of educational workshops and mentoring, we have experienced phenomenal results (i.e. 20% decrease in high school drop out rate, increased morale, 25% increase in state reading program levels and heightened attention to volunteering) and an increased demand from the community to continue these services.

It is the ultimate goal that our Program will continue to empower our youth to reach extraordinary levels of excellence in every facet of their lives by becoming educationally and professionally mature, financially responsible, and socially conscious members of our society.
